About Michelle Cracknell:


Michelle started her career as a pensions adviser for Advisory & Brokerage Services Ltd specialising in self-administered pensions, where she worked for 20 years becoming a director and qualifying as an Actuary in 1997. In 2007, she joined Skandia as the Strategy Director and continued her interest in investment platforms and pensions when she left to work as a Consultant. She is a regular commentator on pension matters in the media. Since take over, the Pensions Advisory Service has grown from looking after 60,000 customers to now looking after 200,000 customers. Throughout her career, her key desire has been to make pensions more accessible to people.

For this event she will give a session on:

  • DB to DC transfers
  • Income drawdown - will the unadvised drawdown market come back to bite?
  • Complaints on SSAS and SIPPs - where things go wrong
  • Pension scams - how they are changing.


Other key speakers:

 

David Fox, Director of Sales & Marketing at Dentons, who will review the constantly changing SIPP and SSAS market, highlighting how Dentons is rising to the challenges still facing providers in 2018.

Martin Tilley, Director of Technical Services at Dentons, who will provide an overview of legislative and technical updates. By using a series of interesting and informative new case studies, he will help demonstrate how SIPP/SSAS can help your clients.
