SSAS flexible features.

Dentons was one of the first companies to offer SSASs and we now have 40 years of SSAS experience.

A SSAS established with Dentons offers a range of flexible features and support services:

  • allows business owners and key employees to group pension assets for greater investment flexibility
  • ability to invest in one of the widest range of assets
  • non-standard assets accepted (subject to individual acceptance)
  • extensive commercial property expertise – allowing business owners to purchase their property through a SSAS
    • clients can choose to use their own solicitor, valuer and lender
    • clients can manage their own commercial property
    • there is no obligatory block insurance
    • joint property transactions with other pension schemes and/or individuals/companies can be facilitated
  • no limited panel of discretionary fund managers or platforms – clients have the opportunity to choose one to suit their investment needs (subject to Dentons pre-acceptance and due diligence)
  • clients are in control of their pension fund with flexibility on the frequency and payment of contributions
  • make a loan to the sponsoring employer (subject to certain conditions set by HMRC)
  • a dedicated pension consultant and administrator cover all SSAS requirements
  • award winning personalised service through professional, experienced and technically knowledgeable staff
  • flexible fee structure through fixed and time-costed fees – you only pay for the services you use; we do not charge based on a percentage of funds invested
  • full benefit options are available including flexi-access drawdown and uncrystallised funds pension lump sums.

We are also able to convert most existing insured executive schemes to full SSAS capability to open up investment opportunities.
Please note: It is currently taking HMRC about 4-8 weeks to register a new SSAS (which has reduced from previous levels of 4-6 months). You can apply for a Dentons SSAS by submitting the relevant application forms.
